Infrared IR Transmitter and Receiver Module
Easily Tuned - Works with Arduino
This listing is for a neat little infrared transmitter and receiver module. A demonstration of how the module works can be seen above. Please make sure to watch the video before purchasing. You can tune the transmit frequency going to the transmitter LED (Clear), and adjust the gain on the receiver (Purple LED). The output is not monetary. It requires 5v to operate. If you're looking for a digital HI/LO signal, you can add a capacitor to the output. This is talked about in the video at the end. You have to tune the transmitter and the receive to work together. If you tune it right, when an object comes within range of the transmitter and the receiver LED, the output goes from high to low. The video does give you a detailed explanation of how this works.
Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have. We'll be happy to answer quickly. IT COMES SEALED IN AN ESD (Static Protected) BAG!
There are three interface pins:
1) VCC (5v)
2) GND (DC Ground)
3) OUT (Digital Output)
Requirements:
1) Rated Voltage: 5VDC
2) If you want to change the output to be monetary, you'll need a capacitor (330nF - 1uF) - See Video
