The Magnetic Sensing Relay Driver DIY Kit
Activates when Magnetism is Detected
This listing is for a magnetic sensing relay driver DIY electronics kit. When assembled, this device will activate an on board relay when the on board reed switch detects magnetism within close proximity. The above video offers a full set of assembly instructions, and a full demonstration. It is very easy to assemble and even comes with an additional reed switch.
Once you've assembled your kit into a fully functional device, and you power it on, the on board relay will activate when a magnet is placed in front of the reed switch (magnet sensor). When the reed switch no longer detects the magnet, the relay will turn off. The relay is a high power switch that has three output pins via a three-pin terminal block. It can be used to activate both AC and DC devices. The three pins are labelled NC (Normally Closed), CO (Common), and NO (Normally open). When the relay is inactive, the common pin is connected internally to the normally closed pin (NC). When the relay is activated, the common pin disconnects from the normally closed pin, and connects to the normally open pin.
