THE RELAXATRON! - 2x Different Rainbow LED Electronics Kits For Beginners!
This listing is for a set of two RELAXATRON DIY electronics kits. They are very simple, easy to solder up, and they make for a real conversation starter. The Version#1 unit has an on-off switch, and the Version#2 board has two holes that allow for the maker to loop a necklace chain through, so that you can wear it as jewellery if you'd like. You can also loops some string through to make a really cool Christmas tree decoration. These sets each require a 3v coin battery. Two of which ARE are included, and you can usually find replacements at the dollar store. There is a demonstration video below that also shows you how to solder each these sets up from kit form into a fully functioning module. One coin battery will keep the LED changing colours for more than 24 hours. The LED will still operate for up to five days or more, but the light will begin to dim after 24 hours, and the blue colour will fade.
Gap out for a minute, and relax! The Relaxatron is fun to make, and neat to stare at. These rainbow LEDs are very pretty. I hate to use the word "pretty", but the colours gradually change and it really is something to look at! You can see this in the video. The video is somewhat dark, but the colours reign true! If you purchase this listing, you'll get all of the components, including two batteries, the Version#1 and Version#2 PCBs, two rainbow LEDs, an ON/OFF switch, two battery holders, and two current limiting resistors. If you want to build this with your classroom, I can easily offer up a bulk discount price!
Watch the below video! It will give you a full demonstration, and soldering/assembly instructions.
If you have any questions, let me know. I'll be happy to answer them!
