The Wireless LED Lamp - Includes Receiver / Transmitter / LED Bank / 12v Adapter
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR THIS ITEM, OR ANY ITEM IN BULK? WANT AN AWESOME PRICE? JUST ASK!
This listing is for a wireless LED Lamp module. There are two modes of operation, which I'll get to in just a minute. The video above offers a fully demonstration. This unit comes assembled and tested. It includes the wireless receiver board, a 2-pin header jumper for mode selection, an LED bank comprised of 24x HI-BRITE LEDs that plugs directly into the receiver board, a 12v 1A AC-DCwall adapter that also plugs directly into the receiver board, a hand-held key fob transmitter key-chain, and an optional 17.3cm wire-based antenna that you can solder to the receiver board yourself. The reason why this is not soldered on in house is because it would likely be ripped off in transit.
Two Modes Of Operation:
On the receiver board, there is a three pin header. On the left, you'll see the text "PRG1", and on the right, you'll see "PRG2" If you use the included 2-pin jumper, you can short the middle and the left pin to select program#1 (PRG1). If you use the jumper to short the middle and right pins, you'll select program#2 (PRG2). Programs cannot be changed on the fly. The selection must be made prior to power up. If you want to change modes of operation, you will have to remove power, change the jumper, and power the device up again.
PRG1: In this mode, if you press any button on the transmitter key chain, the LED Bank will toggle on. It will be VERY loud, so please keep this in mind. As long as you are in range, press any button on the keypad to turn the LED bank off. Please keep in mind that you get the best reception if you have the transmitter antenna extended. If you have this extended, then you should have no problem activating from more than 25-30 meters away. With the optional 17.3cm antenna soldered on, you should get up to 50 meters of distance or more.
PRG2: In this mode, when you press any button on the transmitter keychain, the LED bank will turn on for five seconds, then turn off again on its own. This mode was designed in at the last minute, and is not seen in the above video. The reason for this is because if you are out of range of the receiver when trying to turn off the LED bank, you might have trouble. This is not the default program. It is simply an extra.
The Optional Antenna:
This is simply a 17.3cm long wire that can be soldered the the ANT pin on the RX receiver board. This set comes with this antenna, but you have to solder this yourself. You can ask me to do it for you, but please know that there is a risk that it will become detached in transit.
Mounting Holes:
There are mounting holes on all four sides of the receiver board. There are also four mounting holes on the LED bank.
If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask!
