Fully Assembled Digital Clock Kit
with Countdown Timer & Relay - Paintball Prop
This listing is for a fully assembled ATMEL based 6-digit clock kit that includes a relay driver board, and a modified power system so that you can use 7-14VDC to power it. A customer of mine wanted me to build this as a paintball prop. When the alarm goes off (Countdown timer/alarm setting modes), the relay turns on until you disable the alarm. The clock itself had a countdown timer feature, a stopwatch feature, and an alarm-set feature. This is fully assembled and tested. The video above shows you how it works. If you want to build one yourself, I sell these clocks and relay boards as kits. If you want to build it yourself, and you purchase a relay and clock kit, I'll throw in the 7805 for free. This listing is for a fully assembled version. When you receive this set, there are two flying wires. A red and a black wire. The red wire is connected to your
7-14v source, and the black is connected to ground.
When you power the board up, use the on board buttons to set-up your alarm or countdown timer. The countdown timer option is seen in the video above. If you were to use this module in a game of paint ball, you could hook up a loud siren to the relay, and make a game out of it. The opposite team has however long you agree on to get to the protected timer and disarm it, or else the alarm goes off. Really, there are a lot of possibilities. Below, there is a theory lesson on how the clock kit interfaces with a relay/driver board.
Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all. Again, these modules are assembled and tested personally by me before shipping out. If you want to build your own, look for our clock kits and relay board kits. Message me if you want to built it yourself to save a few bucks, and I'll throw in the 7805 and some helpful instructions.
