The Variable Super Capacitor Battery DIY Kit
This listing is for a variable super capacitor battery kit that has a boostable output. We have an instructable that actually acts as the instruction manual. How this device works, is you charge the super capacitors (2x 400f in series = 200F @ 5.4v) and feed that voltage through a 3.4-34VDC booster that allows for you to boost the voltage from the super cap bank. If you want to see it in action, have a look at the below video. If you want to know more before you buy, have a look at the instructable! The link is below. THERE IS TONS OF INFORMATION! Please see the video and review the instructable before purchasing.
This kit comes with:
1x Empty printed circuit board
2x 400f 2.7v super capacitors
1x LM317 DIY kit
1x 0-20v Digital Display
1x 3.4VDC to 34 VDC booster
2x Power resistors
2x 1N4001 diodes
1x DPDT switch (different than seen in picture). We ran out of stock on the old one, so we're including a DPDT rocker switch.
1x 0.1uf capacitor
1x 100uf capacitor
2x terminal blocks
All of which you see in the second image. Does not come with a wall wart. Again, if you have any questions, ask before you buy. Your instruction manual is the instructable.

Please do not buy this kit if you have absolutely no background in electronics. Read the instructable before you buy. Look at what is included in this kit. The LM317 kit holds all that you need and more for the LM317 portion of the charger. As well, it includes an extra solderable PCB if you want to play with it. Ask questions, and make sure that you READ THE ENTIRE instructable! It is very helpful, and very educational.
